Job Description
- Communicate model compliance status and guidance to stakeholders: prepare clear reports/presentations for model owners, senior management, and auditors; coordinate remediation plans and training to address regulatory or audit findings.
- Maintain and update model governance documentation: accurate model inventory, model risk assets and policy documents, ensuring they reflect current regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with Data Science team, Engineering team and Model Risk Management stakeholders to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, standards, guidelines, and model validation processes, enabling responsible and auditable AI adoption.
- Partner closely with Engineering and Data Science teams to coordinate model development, deployment, monitoring, and platform capabilities, managing dependencies, technical trade-offs, and delivery milestones across the AI/ML lifecycle.
- Manage the full model lifecycle (identification, development, validation, approval, monitoring, retirement) for both ML and GenAI models; maintain model risk documentation for audit/regulator readiness.
Job Qualifications
- Degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Risk Management or equivalent.
- 2 years in model risk management, validation, or compliance in banking industry.
- Experience in ML models and GenAI models.
- Experience in finance compliance or regulation or any other regulatory field, especially guidance into bank policies and controls, and lead enterprise model risk compliance and governance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess model risks, identify control gaps, and recommend remediation actions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing management reports, governance papers, presentations, and audit documentation.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. PMP, FRM, PRM, CRISC, or NIST AI RMF practitioner) are a plus.
